HUMAN BODY SYSTEM MOVIE POSTER

You are required to produce a movie poster based on one human body system. This poster must at least resemble the style and flair of an advertisement that you see at the local movie theater.

Instructions:

1. There are eleven human body systems, While you may select any body system or topic, remember that if you are the only one choosing a particular system/topic, you poster will be the best! However, if 10 people are doing that system/topic, while you still have potential of being “best,” you have 9 other places your poster might rank—think about it!

2. This poster must be colorful and engaging. You must integrate some research with an appropriate citation on the back of the poster. Make the poster professional looking and exciting! Research information about :

a. Function in the body

b. Where it is located in the body

c. Parts of the particular system and how the parts work together (integrate)

d. How does it work with the other systems?

3. The poster can be in ANY media: drawn, collage, computer generated, photographic, painted, etc, etc, etc. Be creative and have fun doing this. However, if you do use non-original art, you must cite the source or you will LOSE MEGA POINTS.

4. The poster should be "finished"—it must be mounted on poster board or produced on fairly heavy paper stock (e.g. construction paper).

5. Your name, the class period, must be on the back of the poster along with your reference citations.

Grading will be based on

10 points – related to a particular movie

10 points – researched and answered all questions

10 points – creativity, neatness and originality

10 points – Reference citations of sources
