1. Do
the following steps with up to 3 other students.
2. Make
a concept map using all twenty five (25) of the following terms. You may add up to five (5) additional terms
if you wish.
3. Remember:
A. A
concept map is not linear, it should have interconnections.
B. Connecting
lines should have words written on them making "sentences" between
concepts.
C. Place
each of the key terms in some form of enclosed "shape." Each shape should be an authentic
representation of the key term. For
example, a picture of a “bacillus” could be a shape of a rod.
D. You
will use three colors of ink/pencil for your final map:
E. All
key terms should be written in one color of ink. Include on your concept map a specific
example for each of any five (5) of the words used in your map.
F. All
connecting lines should be in one color ink.
G. All
connecting words should be in one color ink.
H. The
connecting words should be that, words, not a novel.
4. A
grading rubric will be available for you to see before you begin your mapping
project.
