CRS Question, 5–12
ANSWER
Choice 4 describes two opposing changes.  When the volume decreases, the pressure of a trapped gas will increase (at constant temperature and constant moles of gas).   However, if the pressure drops, more collisions could be restored by adding more particles of gas in the same ratio as the pressure decline.
