Photosynthesis Cartoon

Your task this period is to create a cartoon which illustrates, explains, or defines all or part of the process of photosynthesis. You may do a four-frame cartoon like Peanuts or Garfield. Or, you may do a single frame cartoon like the Far Side or Bizzaro. If you’d like, you can do a “political cartoon.”

1. You may work on your cartoon by yourself or with a single partner.

2. The cartoon should be drawn and colored on a single sheet of unlined typing paper. All words and pictures should be dark or brightly colored.

3. Put your name(s) on the BACK OF THE CARTOON.

4. No explanation of your cartoon should be necessary.

5. The cartoon must be accurate in its portrayal of the definition of the word.

6. You will have 35 minutes to complete this task. At the end of the time allowed for production, your cartoon

7. will be scanned and shown on the “big screen” through the LCD projector to the entire class. Therefore, neatness counts.
